- ULLR Fest – Tahoe Valley Campground: Saturday, November 2, 2024, noon to 6 p.m., In honor of ULLR, the Norse God of winter, enjoy a free celebration of winter’s arrival featuring a vendor tent sale marketplace, a beer garden featuring South Lake Brewing, food trucks by Betty’s Balls and Slice Shack, a family ski swap, a Silent Auction, campfires, smores, hot chocolate bombs, live music, and a winter sports film screening.
- Snow Days in November: South Lake Tahoe has an average of 4 to 7 snow days in November, providing a unique blend of fall and winter landscapes that make it a perfect destination for those seeking a seasonal crossover. Visitors can embrace the captivating beauty of the transition between fall and winter. Heavenly Ski Resort’s opening day is scheduled for Nov. 22.
- Winter and Holiday Season Celebrations: During the winter and holiday season, South Lake Tahoe celebrates with tree lighting, live music, après-ski parties, and pub crawls. Visitors can immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere and enjoy one-of-a-kind events featuring fireworks and a gondola drop in South Shore, creating a memorable experience for all. Heavenly Holidays kicks off Nov. 29 in the Heavenly Village.
