Lake Tahoe in March is still a winter wonderland, but as the days start getting longer there are indoor and outdoor events to enjoy. Here are some top events coming to South Shore in March 2024.
Toyota Air & Apres at Heavenly Mountain Resort
Runs Feb. 29 – March 3, with events afternoon and evening. Heavenly’s Big Air Show is back for year two! It is an action-packed show where a dozen Olympic and X-Game skiers and riders show off their tricks on a 45-foot-high jump at the base of Heavenly’s World Cup run. As if the gravity-defying stunts aren’t dazzling enough, a grooving lights-and-fireworks show adds extra sparkle.
DJ John Summit, Tahoe Blue Event Center
March 2, 7-9:30 p.m. With over 500 million global streams on Spotify alone, John has garnered a massive following of 7 million+ monthly listeners and a dedicated fanbase.
Ski with a Ranger at Heavenly
The USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit has brought back this popular experience. Tours depart Tamarack Lodge at the top of the Heavenly Gondola every Friday at 1 p.m. The tour lasts approximately one hour, weather permitting. Participants must be intermediate level skiers/boarders or above and provide their own lift ticket.
