Sustainability — From electric cars to organic food and OEKO-TEX fabrics, sustainability is the buzzword to measure our purchases against. In home design, this trend is predicting a move away from fast furniture and a move toward repurposed and vintage choices. And consumers are advocating for greener homes with their wallets by looking into renewable materials like wool, cotton, bamboo, linoleum, and cork across design elements like flooring, furniture, textiles, and building materials.
Multipurpose rooms — People are still working from home and are looking to get the most out of their space with multipurpose rooms – a corner office in the kitchen, guest room/home office, or home gym/office.
